The deli:

How long does it take for an order to arrive to me?

A maximum of 96 hours in working days. The deadline to register your order is 12pm. Any order placed after then will start counting on from the next working day.

What happens if my parcel gets lost or suffers any damage in transit?

If your parcel gets lost, we will resend a new one or we will offer you a full refund, depending on your preferences. If any of the products arrives damaged, we will send you a replacement or we will issue you a refund.

Can I order wholesale?

At the moment we are developing our wholesale service, although this is not live yet. Send us an email to register your interest. Once we activate this service, we will personally write to you to arrange a meeting.

How much are the shipping fees?

If you place your order within Edinburgh, depending of your postcode, the cost will likely be £6. If you are further away, the cost will increase to £12. 

Can I place my order in any other way than using your website?

Absolutely. If you don't want to use our website feel free to drop us a message at vanesa@thefifthtasteedin.co.uk. If contacting us via Facebook or Instagram is more convenient for you, find us with the handle @thefifthtasteedin.

Can I place my order in any other way than using your website?

When placing an order from the website, you can pay with PayPal or a debit card. If you use social media or email to contact us, the payment will be requested to be done via bank transfer. Contact us at vanesa@thefifthtasteedin.co.uk 

What happens if I'm not home to sign the delivery drop-off?

If this is your problem, let us know when you place your order so that we can work it out to your convenience.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order any time if it has not been dispatched yet.

 

Cooking workshops:

What happens if I fail to arrive in time to a class?

Vanesa will contact you 5 minutes prior the scheduled time. If after 15 minutes you are unreachable, she will cancer your class. Should this be the case, she will offer you an additional time to schedule the class again.

What happens if my connection is poor during the class?

Before scheduling a class, we kindly ask you to consider whether your internet connection is stable enough for this. If this is not the case, we encourage you not to order this service since you will not be able to fully enjoy the experience.

What happens if I don't have all the necessary tools?

Vanesa will let you know of alternative tools to use. In this case, there are no guarantees that the final result is the one expected.

What happens if I don't have all the ingredients or all of the suggested ones?

Like in the previous question, if you are missing some ingredients, the final result will forcefully be distinct to the one intended. If you can't find a product let us know and we will try to help you.
